Print, promotional materials and illustrations for research and scientific communication. Alongside web and digital work, I have developed a wide range of visual communication materials for research groups, research centres, projects and scientific events. The work spans printed and digital formats, from brochures and flyers to large-format roll-ups, presentation graphics and custom illustrations.

Project story
Challenge
Scientific organisations often need to communicate the same subject to very different audiences and in very different situations.
A research project might need a brochure for a meeting, a flyer to promote an event, a roll-up for a conference, or an illustration to explain a complex scientific concept.
The challenge is not simply to make each item look good, but to create a clear visual message that works in its specific context.
Approach
I combine graphic design, information hierarchy and scientific communication to turn research content into accessible visual material.
Depending on the purpose, I work with:
- typography and layout
- visual hierarchy
- photography and imagery
- custom illustration
- diagrams and graphic elements
- colour and visual identity
- print specifications and large-format production
The design is adapted to the format and audience rather than treating every communication piece as the same type of asset.
