Project story
Challenge
Large European research projects bring together complex scientific questions, multiple institutions and large amounts of information. The challenge was to create a visual identity and digital presence that could make INITIALISE feel coherent and accessible while still reflecting the scientific depth of the project.
The website needed to serve several audiences at once: researchers and consortium partners, healthcare and scientific communities, stakeholders, and visitors with less specialised knowledge.
Approach
LaBio Media developed the INITIALISE logo and visual identity, then carried that visual language into the project's website.
The website was designed around a clear information structure, helping visitors move between the project's research objectives, work packages, publications, partners, news and broader impact.
Rather than treating the scientific content as something to simplify away, the goal was to give complex information a clear visual and structural framework. The result is a digital platform where the project's research can be explored without losing the depth behind it.
